Sehwag and Richards

Gavaskar has compared Sehwag to the legend Viv Richards. There is one subtle difference between Richards and Sehwag in my humble opinion. While Sehwag makes a bad attack look worse, Richards was capable of making an excellent attack look bad. Not sure I agree with Sunny on this one.

I agree..with the world pace attacks being depleted and the Windies attack is still a joke..I calll it a joke of an attack coz I have seen the great 4 ina ction. Viv killed great bowlers without helmet(important point) todays batsmen are fed on on bouncer rule and shorter boundaries and slower picthes.

Thanks Arun for your comments. Well put. Richards was quite lucky though not to face his own bowlers. He however had to counter Hadlee, Thommo, Dennis Lillee and Kapil. This attack was quite formidable but not quite in the league of Holding, Roberts, Marshall and Garner.
