Do you want to try out this new recipe. It involves taking one Iphone and grinding it in a blender. You can season it with mustard seeds if you wish. Here is a demo.
There is always debate on which is a better company. The commonality between these two companies ends with the fact that they make aircrafts. Airbus based in Europe has a socialistic upbringing with trade unions and such and Boeing on the other hand is almost 100% capitalistic. One is a complex multi country alliance and the other is a single corporate hegemony. Given the cut-throat market for aircrafts it is always welcome news when arch-rivals applaud the other’s efforts. Here is what the Airbus CEO has to say about the launch of the 787 dreamliner from Boeing
“Even if tomorrow Airbus will get back to the business of competing vigorously, today is Boeing’s day — a day to celebrate the 787. Today is a great day in aviation history. Whenever such a milestone is reached in our industry it is always a reflection of hard work by dedicated people inspired by the wonder of flight.”
True leaders are those who take a moment to recognize the rival and applaud their strengths. I beleive recognizing your opponent is a sign of strength and not weakness.
Here is more the launch of the Dreamliner.
Some welcome news for the disenchanted Indian Travellers.
WASHINGTON: Long suffering Air India loyalists flying between India and the US will soon have option of forgoing layovers in Europe and East Asia with the introduction of several direct, non-stop flights between the two countries over the next few months.
The third route to be introduced later this year or early 2008 will link San Francisco, hub for Silicon Valley, with Bangalore, India’s Silicon Plateau.
This direct non-stop will muscle into a heavily trafficked route currently dominated by Lufthansa, whose flight via Frankfurt is dubbed the “Bangalore Express” because it shuttles techies between the two IT hubs.
So there have been a number of theories circulating as to why hordes of techies are returning back to India. Popular among them are they get to have an army of servants, wife has a lot of other people to fight with, you can actually get home made food on a daily basis and not on a fortnightly basis etc. On the work front people feel that the work culture is similar to the culture in the US.Â
Say Whaaaaat??? The grass must indeed be greener on the other side since there are no elephants to be found here 🙂Â
Have you had an urge to have a dosa but did not know where to find the closest restaurant which can serve you the delicacy. Well “Food Finder” is here to help. Give it a shot and send me the kudos. Flames will promptly be dispensed with 🙂
Ok this looks like a child prodigy week. First we had a kiddo rattling off capitals and now a friend sent me a clip of someone who can crack a rubix cube while still in diapers 🙂
Not only does the preschooler rattle out the capitals of all the 50 states but he has the ability to remember the fact that his dad was making a mistake in asking him the same capital twice. Kudos little fella.
The rawalpindi express Shoaib Akhtar has been accused of taking performance enhancing drugs. He may miss the world cup on account of this. I knew “speed” was a factor for his awesome performance but did not know it was the other “speed” 🙂
